Goodnight LA is an up-and-coming band from Canton, Ohio. From what I gathered, they are a merger of a band called Everybody Else Wins and a band called CenterLane, neither of which I have heard before. They have a general pop/rock style, but what I like most about these guys is that a lot of their songs are simply upbeat and fun to listen to. I also like how all of their songs sound so distinctly different from each other. While listening on their website I never knew what was coming next, but I always knew it would be something good.
Their songs range from mainly rock in Metamora, to mainly pop in Now That You’re Around, to a nice combination of both pop and rock in Give It Up. I really like their use of piano to complement their songs, a good example of which is Broadway Lights the Star. My favorite one of their songs is You Know Me. It’s different than their other songs, using primarily vocals and piano with some percussion, but I think it works really well and showcases the lead vocalist.
As far as I can tell, Goodnight LA doesn’t yet have MP3s available for purchase, but you can listen to some of their songs on their Myspace page. They also have additional songs that you can hear for free on their official website at GoodnightLA.com.

Goodnight LA are awesome! Theyre really nice people and at concerts, they just like to have fun. Theyre willing to hang out with fans after shows and get pictures with them/chat with them. I’ve known Travis(Lead Vocals/Piano)for a few years and hes just really nice and cool. Tyler(Bass) is really cool too. Shannon(Guitar/Vocals) is nice and he is funny. Jim(Drums)is also nice and cool. Me and my friend Rachel met them at a show in Canton, Ohio on 10-28-07 and Rachel is alot shorter than me, but Shannon kept laughing at her and just being funny and cool. We hung out with them all and they are just a sweet band! Go see them in concert, meet them, and tell your friends about them.

Yeah…this band is definitely amazing. I don’t know any of the guys personally, but I followed them on myspace for a while from Center Lane until now. What’s really cool is that they actually respond to Myspace messages. (Well, mainly Travis. He takes care of a lot of the myspace.) So when I have questions about their CDs or merchandise I just shoot them a message, and they always get back to me!
What’s really cool is that a while ago, back when they were Center Lane, I ordered one of their CDs, and paid for it, and I waited for months, but it never came. So I sent them a message, and they apologized a lot. As it turned out, all that information was with one of the band members who had split from the band. So at that time, there were only two guys left from Center Lane. But Travis took my address, and said he’d send me the CD I ordered, and the brand new one for free, which hadn’t been released. Which, by the way, still hasn’t been released, but will be in 2 days! So I had their new CD for many months before it was released.
Their music is awesome, and it keeps getting better! So definitely, go check them out.

goodnight la is an awsome band.
ive seen them in concert several times. and im friends with jim(drums) they do have mp3 available on itunes now so go check em out and enjoy!

i saw them at the colony and they are perty amazing. they sound really good live.

Yeah they are great, really nice guys! Shannon is by far the nicest and very funny! He talked to me at a show for like an hour! Not many bands would do that, all of them are really good, Shannon is a really good guitar player and singer and Jim is a sweet drummer, Travis is also really good at the keys! Check them out live if you have the chance!!!!
